LYDDEN VALE GARDENING CLUB present their Celebrity talk of the Year:

No longer ‘Confessions of a TV gardener’

STOP PRESS – NIck Bailey of Gardeners World is ill and can no longer attend. To avoid disappointment a replacement speaker has been added at short notice – Dorset-based Charles Chesshire.

Charles Chesshire is a garden designer and plantsman who has created gardens as far afield as New York, Long Island, Saudi Arabia, London and France. Charles has been curator of Burford House Gardens, and consultant to both Sudeley Castle and Sezincote gardens. Recent commissions include the restoration of the park and gardens around Lydney Park in Gloucestershire and the complete design of the 90 acres of Morton Hall Gardens, Worcestershire.

Now based near Bridport in Dorset, Charles brings a lifetime of global garden design to his practice and rare plant nursery, offering an exceptional range from Clematis and Itoh peonies to maples, camellias and hydrangeas.

Wed 14th Oct at 7.30pm. Doors open from 6.45.
