
National Garden Scheme (NGS) at Ivy House, Piddletrenthide
After a gap of a few years Ivy House Garden was once again open on Sat 11 and Sunday 12 April
serving teas and also selling plants and cards of the garden.
Over the w/e nearly 130 people were welcomed to enjoy the display of tulips and spring flowering shrubs to a gentle background of Dorset Music performed from the Music Room Balcony by a trio of two violins and a viola.
A total of more than £1000 was raised in support of several notable charities including: Macmillan Cancer
Support, Hospice UK, Marie Curie, Horatio’s Garden and Parkinson’s UK.
The garden will be open again on Sat 16 and Sun 17 May – do come along!
On Sunday 17th, there wll also be music in the garden.
