Bridge Educational Trust

The Bridge Educational Trust is a Piddle Valley based charity that provides grants to individuals who wish to further their educational aspirations. Find out more about the grants we have awarded.

Do you need financial help to realise your educational development and future ambitions, whether young or old? Thanks to a generous endowment from the Bridge family, with a local connection through an 18th century goldsmith, the Trust is able to provide individual grants to those in the Valley in particular and rural Dorset more generally. Examples of what we have given grants for include: university accommodation fees, vocational/practical courses, assistace with apprenticeships – but these are just the tip of the iceberg. In a good year we make grants totalling £80,000. See the recent grant allocations on our news page.
