Coffee morning fundraiser – update

Many thanks to everybody who came to the coffee morning on Saturday 14 March at East House Piddletrenthide. We raised £650 on the day and over 65 people attended.

Dean and Lisa Pugh and family pass their thanks on to everybody. Lisa is well known in Piddletrenthide as Phil and Jane Carter are her parents.

Find out more updates from the family on the GoFundMe link below.

Kim Sprague (who runs the Piddletrenthide Lunch Club) has with friends quickly pulled together a coffee morning fundraiser for her friend Lisa’s Proton Beam Therapy cancer treatment.

Donation link is here: https://www.gofundme.com/f/raising-for-lisas-acc-cancer-treatment

As you can see, just over a quarter of the amount has already been raised, so all help will be gratefully received.

Come along and meet some old friends – and new ones, while supporting a good cause.

More about Lisa

Lisa was born in Piddletrenthide and her mum, dad and brother still live there. Her father and some of his brothers were also born here and he still lives at his mothers house in Piddletrenthide.

Under the NHS, Lisa has had an operation on her nose and under her eye. Continuing with this treatment may result in sight loss and brain damage.

The Proton Beam therapy is done privately, and costs a lot of money – but is a lot safer.
